EUROPEAN HYDROGEN WEEK 2026
Hydrogen is expected to play a major role in addressing climate change because of its wide range of applications across the energy sector, as highlighted in both the EU Hydrogen Strategy and the European Green Deal.
Recent political and economic developments — including rising energy costs, concerns over raw material availability, and the need to strengthen the sustainable competitiveness of European industry — have further increased its importance. Hydrogen is increasingly seen as a key solution for supporting decarbonisation, industrial growth, and greater energy independence across Europe.
Although significant challenges remain, the transition also offers a major opportunity to build a resilient European hydrogen value chain, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and contribute to achieving the climate targets needed to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
Take part in a week dedicated entirely to hydrogen innovation and development, and contribute to shaping a more sustainable energy future. Registration for European Hydrogen Week 2026 will be free of charge and will open in June 2026.
