CNC Akademija – Practical Training For The Needs Of Modern Manufacturing
CNC Academy is a new educational project aimed at developing practical skills in CNC machining and programming. It was created in response to the growing shortage of qualified CNC operators and programmers, as well as the gap between the theoretical knowledge acquired through formal education and the requirements of modern manufacturing environments.

A key feature of the program is practical training based on real-life examples. Participants do not only learn individual software functions or machine operation, but the entire technological process of producing a component – from understanding technical documentation and preparing the raw material to design, CNC programming, selecting the appropriate machining strategy, and final production on the machine. The programs are structured in progressive levels, ranging from the fundamentals of 2D machining to more advanced 3- and 5-axis programming.
In the short term, the goal of CNC Academy is to contribute to the development of skilled professionals in the Koroška region and beyond, while providing companies with access to employees who are better prepared for practical work. The long-term vision is to establish a broader educational centre that, in addition to CNC programming, would also integrate areas such as design, measurement, and other manufacturing technologies, while creating the conditions for the development of certified programs and vocational training.
