Deburring: The Key to Quality and Safety

In modern manufacturing, product quality is inextricably linked to the precision of every step. One of the critical processes is the removal of burrs that occur during turning, milling, drilling, or laser cutting. If burrs are not removed, they can cause machine damage, system blockages, and a reduced product lifespan.

Today, companies are increasingly relying on automation. While manual deburring remains an option for prototypes, it is losing the battle in serial production due to low repeatability. Integrated automated deburring directly on the CNC machine brings reliability, cleanliness, and time savings.

For top-tier results, there are Engraflexx tools from Gravostar Technologies. They enable automatic deburring even where contours are not fully defined. By using deflectable spindles and specialized spring-loaded brush holders, the system allows for uniform edge removal regardless of minor workpiece variations. In addition to precision, steel brushes ensure cleaner coolant, while spring-loaded holders extend tool lifespan.
