Priminer PT Flex 2520 - Gantry‑Type 5‑Axis Machining Center with Exceptional Dynamics

The Priminer PT Flex 2520 represents a new generation of gantry‑type 5‑axis machining centers designed for high‑precision machining of demanding components in toolmaking, aerospace, medical, and other industries where complex geometries and high accuracy are required. The machine is built on a gantry construction with a cast‑iron base, ensuring rigidity, stability, and effective vibration damping.

The PT Flex 2520 is equipped with linear motors on the X and Y axes, providing outstanding dynamics, high feed rates, and completely smooth motion without mechanical wear. Combined with the dual‑drive system on the Y‑axis, the machine achieves precise, stable, and repeatable simultaneous 5‑axis machining.

The vertical Z‑axis is supported by high‑rigidity linear guides and a ball screw with oil cooling, ensuring thermal stability. The rotary B and C axes are equipped with direct‑drive (DD) motors, enabling high rotational speeds, high torque, and precise positioning for complex contouring.

The worktable, measuring 2500 × 2000 mm and supporting up to 6000 kg/m², allows machining of larger and heavier workpieces — a rarity in this size class. The HSK A63 spindle, with speeds up to 24,000 rpm and power up to 35 kW, further enhances the machine’s performance.

The PT Flex 2520 combines a compact footprint, the superior dynamics of linear motors, and the precision of DD drives, making it an exceptional platform for modern machining.
