SIMSCAN S GEN 2 – Wireless 3D Laser Scanner of the New Generation
3D-ing d.o.o. presents SIMSCAN S GEN 2, an advanced wireless 3D laser scanner designed for industrial metrology, quality control and automated dimensional inspection.

The system uses Quadro (Quad Cross) blue laser technology with up to 126 laser lines, enabling stable scanning of complex geometries, high data density and reduced influence of reflective surfaces. Wireless operation provides complete freedom of movement when scanning large parts, directly in production environments or robotic inspection cells.
SIMSCAN S GEN 2 achieves accuracy up to 0.015 mm, resolution up to 0.020 mm and scanning speed up to 8,100,000 measurements/s. Using adaptive photogrammetry, the system achieves volumetric accuracy of 0.015 + 0.012 mm/m.
Advanced algorithms, CAD/RPS and best-fit alignments enable reliable GD&T analysis of flatness, sphericity and other geometric tolerances with high repeatability.
The system is validated according to ISO 10360-13, VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3 and JJF 1951 standards and also supports robotic arm integration for fully automated 3D inspection.
